Dear God,
Like many who live in areas where there is less violence and less problems, I come to you, oh God, at this time for those who do need you and those who do want all they can of YOU.
Father God, as you know there is a lot of rain right now over us in Belize and Southern Mexico. All this rain is causing flooding and loss of property to many of my Belize sisters and brothers. I humbly beseech thee, oh my God, to help those in need. Keep them safe and protect from all anxieties. Watch over them. oh, God, and renew in them a new fate to love and survive you at this time of despair and doubt.

Amen! We talked to a friend from San Pedro this weekend, and she told us her uncle had died because he needed medical attention and due to flooding couldn't reach.
That is so sad. I really feel quite hopeless whe I hear things like this happening. We still have so far to go in this country. I can only hope we don't keep on losing lives unnecessarily.
